I sent an email out to a UK seller of the Sorbothane Hemisphere’s asking for some advice.
I was told the 30mm 70 durometer would be suitable for the Yamaha HS80m’s.
There are two sizings on their website, unfortunately he only sells 70 durometer as he personally believes they are generally the best for most applications.
I have linked the two options available here. The 19mm aren’t sufficient according to the website. The 30mm are, but I’m concerned these will have a negative impact on the sound as my monitors are only 11.3kg and the 30mm have a 36kg rating per set of 4.

If anyone could shed some light on this and provide some more detailed analysis that would be great.
Are the 30mm okay or will they will be far too hard and cause imbalances etc?
