Crossfade edit points in Cubase SX2
does anyone know how to do this? I'm coming from PT 6 to Cubase SX2 and I need to know how to Crossfade edit points between two pieces of audio. I've cut some chuncks out of a bass line and now there is this awful popping from no zero crossing that could be removed from cross fading the edit points.
Any Cubase users out there? This is surely an easy thing to do.
While I am at it, I have another question. I've used beat detective in PT many times. In cubase I've figured how to line up these hit points, break up the waveform and lock it to the grid. Now I want to stretch out each individual sample to link up to the next sample in line, cross fade the edit points and get on with it.
Is this the best method for emulating Beat Detective in Cubase? Does any one have a better method?
Thanks Slutz!
