I am wondering how i should send audio from my iphone (lightning port) directly into cubase for recording an audio track. I have a favourite app that plays off some sounds i want to use in a song but i can't find anything on this topic elsewhere.
The signal i need to record from the iphone into cubase is audio ( not midi) and i am guessing the best way is probably with a cable from the iphone into my audio interface?
Which cable, adapters do i need to get this done so that i can record both mono and stereo audio signals from my iphone into cubase on an audio track?

Suggestions are much appreciated!
Using a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter with a 3.5mm to dual 1/4โ TS or RCA cable is a solid choice if your interface has those inputs.
Another option is a Lightning to USB audio interface like the iRig Stream for higher quality.
Just ensure your interface is selected in Cubaseโs audio settings.
