Now I'm getting a hard crash every hour or so for the last few days on Mac Mini M2.
Every time, it's saying that a different plugin caused it. Effect, instrument, any developer, even plugins that never caused any issue, simply random. It can even crash while it's in the background doing nothing.
It may be the latest Sequoia, but it started already in a previous version. Do I really need to reinstall a fresh OS after just one year? That's worse than Windowz :P

I know More than a decade. In my circles, Apple's 'majestic status' ended when they moved to Intel. In Motorola times, I was too poor for Apple, during Intel times, I wasn't interested at all, and now, in Apple Sillicone times, I finally bought one, and the famous text "it just works" was real until I plugged the first USB device lol

I still prefer MacOS to Windows (I work on both) tho.

a cool feature I discovered yesterday was you can now have the part you're working on selected with a red border, the same as nuendo, you have to go into preferences and turn it on but I do like that feature, it's much easier on big projects to see exactly what you are working on, at times I've struggled with that before.

That sounds like it should be the default!

What preferences section / box is it?

on prefs, go to event display, then tick the 'highlight borders of selected events' default is unticked.
