I have been spending quite a lot of time dumping all of my work into this "new" MX2424 and I can say that I am less than pleased with the user interface. I have the complete manual and have been reading through it but cannot seem to find my answer... (ie. Radar II simple as pie to use, Alesis HD24 simple...MX2424..who designed this thing?)

HD24 or Radar; So when creating a new project your new song/project starts at 00.00.0000 easy. A new project is created and it sets you at the start ready to go. {its like projects have their own set little place in the system, and are in the order in which they were created}

MX2424; Create a new project it starts you from where your last project left off (Tail) The main display screen also doesn't jump over to time code/location, so I have to hit cancel for it to read. {Its like projects are somewhere floating in the system and does not display in the order in which they were created} Am I doing something wrong to create projects or its just the quirkiness of the beast?

Never had this problem. If you got it used it might be a user setting. Try to run factory default settings
