Chandler TG2 vs Bae 1073mp

Used for guitar and synth exclusively. I don’t see as much chatter about the Chandler on here lately but I found one for a great price. Is it still a cool flavor on a master bus?

TG2 = 100% yes for guitars, synths, and busses. It does actual magic on digital synths.

What if this question shifted toward lead vocals?

Would people go TG-2 or 1073MP?

I’m trying to decide which two channels to add, and for me, this wouldn’t rule out a 1073 with eq as well.

What do you guys think?

I've owned both units, not at the same time, but i really like my Tg2-500, really big and colorful, BAE was too dull and less solid in the bass.

Ok. So, I just purchased a pair of the TG2-500 series, and while I've only used them to run synths, iPhone, and cheap drum machines so far, can I just say: DANG. I REALLY LIKE THESE?

Super musical color, punch, and subtle lift in the top.

I'm just really enjoying whatever they're doing, and the low end is pretty tight too for kick sounds.

I can't wait to put these on some acoustic guitars and vocals.

I am, yeah. They are very smooth and upfront channels.

I can see why Max Martin would use these as a go-to vocal pre. I’ve been transitioning to a new computer recently—never fun—so I will be spending more time with them soon.
