Apologies that I missed this, I can't really remember because I tend to use them as nearfield monitors but from a hazy memory when I sat back around 3 foot + you got more of a specific tweeter than you did the rest which made them sound unbalanced.
They seemed to like being used up close, because even when I spread them three / four / five feet apart they still sounded "right" up close.. Whereas the Gethain's really didn't seem to care where you were..
