Cybertwin
I have 4 Cybertwins and have used them live since 2003. I use 3 live and control them with ART X-15s. I had a Cyber controller but the X-15 works WAY better as one can program each expression pedal to what ever MIDI control on the amp. Also the ART can control 2 Cybertwin master volumes if need be. I have many vintage and new amps ranging from 2 Mesa Boogie Triaxis preamps, Triple Rectifier, MKIIC+, Marshall Voodoo Platinum modded JMP1, JCM 800, JCM 2000 TSL, Hughes and Kettner TRIAMP combo, tons of Fender amps ranging from 1964 Vibroverb, 1958 Vibrolux, 1954 Princeton, 3 Stage 112SEs, Champs, Showman, Mustang IV, Line 6 AX2, Vetta II HD, PODs and POD Pro, Spider Valve, 5 Johnson Millenniums, Seymour Duncan 60wt, ADA-MP1, ART preamps, Pignose 60, Crate Vintage Club 50, a bunch of Peaveys, Soundcity 120, Vox Berkeley tube and solid state and a bunch more. Point being for the Classic Rock band I play in the Cyber Turds( my name for them) work quite well. Took me 2 years of consistent gigging and practicing to get some very good tones. I installed JBL D120s in one and EVM-12s in another along with the stock Celestion 100s in the other 2. The clean tone with reverb and delay in #1 and Chorus in #2 sounds like Eric Johnsons' clean tone. Many guitarists in my area comment on how good my tones are. That the great thing of the Cyber Twin its not a one trick pony. I think many guitarists believe that if it isn't all tube its junk. That might be the reason the Cyber Twin was discontinued. By the way I prefer the first version over the SE. I traded the SE for a Marshall 2000 TSL combo.
