I bought the Presonus T10 Sub along with the Presonus Sceptre 8's...
Found these work well in a decently treated room, giving nice translation.
I found it rather easy to setup, as far as, how easy it is setting up a small studio, lol,,,

Took a bit of trial and error as I also was setting up the room treatment as well,,,

I feel I made a smart purchase and can't imagine needing to spend a lot more money to have good translation and reference.
The T10 does a great job, giving the extra lows the Sceptre's are limited to. And the Sceptre's have a rather nice bottom end themselves, lol
I wouldn't mix and match my left and right studio monitors with different brands, or even my home system, so I would suggest the same when purchasing a sub.
Not that the T10 won't work with other speakers. I know plenty of people using the T10 with other brands and loving it... Just know all speakers responses are as different and unique as the room they are sitting in.

The On/Off wired remote is very useful...
The T10 is just for reference, for me...
I don't need the sub frequencies wearing on my ears while working through a mix,,, Set up correctly, the T10 only adds to what exists already in the Sceptre 8's... I don't hear added lows boosted when turning the T10 on and off.
Not easy, but not as hard as it could be, to setup correctly. But then we are talking about the most crucial part of mixing other than our ears and room treatment...

I would definitely buy again if needed. But I don't see that happening for quite sometime. Presonus has been great to work with on all their products I use...

I'm using Focal Alpha 50's for my studio monitors. Purchased the Temblor T10 due to so many positive reviews at Sweetwater and elsewhere.
Total disappointment. The Temblor T10 made my system sound worse, and was actually annoying. Everything the sub reproduced sounded the same, there was no distinction between timbre or attack on very different instruments, everything just went "boom". Down at around 35-40HZ, the sub was definitely loose and flabby.
Total disappointment, sent it back after just a few days. This is not something for the discriminating studio nor anyone interested in authentic reproduction of music.

Needed an affordable sub that could actually hit around 20Hz. And it does, unlike even many pricier subs.

Used initially in my Edit suite with KRK VXT 6’s.... Then the incredible Presonus Sceptre S8’s. The foot pedal was very useful there.

Bought a second one and moved them into the home theatre as the LFE channel with a Marantz AV7703 and three Presonus StudioLive 315AI - and the T10 keeps up without breaking a sweat.
Love the front port, grille and overall design.
It’s just a brilliant, affordable sub that actually goes all the way down and always stays tight.

I bought this subwoofer to accompany my Presonus R80s, which are satisfactory in pretty much everything except low-frequency reproduction. They lack the punch and don't go as low as I'd like to.

I was looking for a subwoofer that could hit 20Hz. Presonus states that the frequency response of the Temblor T10 starts at 20Hz, but they say nothing about the tolerance (+-3dB etc.). After listening to the T10, HS8S and LSR310s, I went with the T10, since it went much deeper than the rest of the subwoofers and the bass felt smoother and tighter, especially in comparison to the HS8S.

The setup was super easy. It took a few minutes of tinkering with the crossover frequency and gain knobs to blend the subwoofer with my R80s.

The subwoofer is surprisingly powerful for a studio subwoofer. It is very unlikely that I will ever push the subwoofer to it's limits. Now for the frequency response. Presonus weren't exactly lying about it, but they weren't telling us the full truth. The subwoofer actually hits 20Hz and has no high-pass filter to cut off the low frequencies, but it hits 20Hz at about -16dB... On the other side, what would you expect from a budget 10" subwoofer.

I haven't noticed any delay that has been mentioned here once.

Don't forget that subwoofer placement and room acoustics are just as important as the subwoofer itself!

It's a fine studio subwoofer, the bass is tight and not boomy. It packs a nice punch and when you want to have some fun, you can "adjust" the gain a bit, your neighbours will love you.

FYI: These subs aren't just made for any speaker, they are made for the Presonus Eris and Sceptre line of speakers. Literally other than these brand name speakers all of the reviews above me clearly didn't read the manuals as YMMV

Now, I've been using this sub for years out of my studio and I would never mix without it or a sub. Period. The low end is tight and solid while surrounding its dominant frequencies so you feel everything and hear it too. The separation is clean and clear while still giving you the image from the 2 satellite speakers (I'm using Eris ES8's) which really shine through as you push level into this 2.1 system. This isn't going to make you a better mixer overnight but you will turn out better mixes with it than without it as the low low end being accurately represented is the fundamental goal of all subwoofers and these paired with their brand's speakers give you just that.

The subwoofer switch as mentioned comes with the sub and makes turning it on and off awesome and handy when using the sub as the control to the satellite speakers for quick A|B comparisons. Now I don't know what the first reviewers were doing but there is no noticeable delay ever with this sub and how the sub was on par with speakers of the 8" capacity was just silly, sorry but in urban music I wanna feel the low end and my clients do too so I guess soft hand approaches need not apply to a sub at all Back to the fun stuff, this thing is a beast when running on all cylinders and can easily fill up a room quickly if you want it to. I also found hooking the satellite speakers up to it directly and then the sub to my monitor controller (drawmer MC3.1) was just what the doctor ordered and delivered an amazing representation of my mixes that translate great.

Seeing as I run a project studio this has brought tremendous value to it both in mixing and visual aspects. The grille is nice and the front port will definitely push some air out lol Ultimately I will be getting a second one to pair with it and just enjoy the great sound even more.
My advice: If you're thinking about a sub and you make urban music then get one. Period. Everyone else, do as you please but in most big studios they have huge low end drivers for a reason so just think about it

We use the Tremblor 10 in a 5.1 configuration with 4 x Eris E8 (front/rear), 1 x Eris E44 (center) and a Denon DN-700AVP as surround pre-amp in a little cinema (85 people) and everybody is raving about the quality of the sound. And the price was more than fair.

First thing I would like to say is, this is my first real studio subwoofer for reference. So I don't have a lot of experience with high quality reference subwoofers. I do have experience with other types of subs, be it car or home theatre, both cheap and high quality such as McInstosh, or said grade.

That said, let me review the Presonus T10 Sub.

This this is a beast! I got the 10 inch model not because the 8 inch has the front loading port, and most other subs for home use had that similar design, I wanted to hear the face of the sub kick and went all out. Im glad I did.

Before operating the subwoofer, I assessed my room and the layout. I have treatment in my studio, and it is rather small for a single 10 inch driver. I already have two 8 inch drivers, non sub model type. That said, I checked the level on the rear panel and turned the sub all the way down before turning it on. One on, I was able to assess the loudness in the room from the subs activity.

First impression was the bass was too low, so I turned it up to around - 24 dB. This is a decent level for my room. I can turn it up a lil more, maybe =2 - 4 dB depending on the song.

The sub is really over powered for my room, so its a blessing that its sweet spot is acutally well below unity. The crossover point I have used so far is 200 hz and 150 hz and 100 hz. I like it at 100 hz. I have really nice 8 inch drivers for my monitoring and they have a decent low end, and the port is a sloted face loading design, so I hear the lows plenty from them alone.

Because I play the sub at a lower volume on the panel, I get to really turn it up and it still be barable, around 110 dB is as loud as I have gone so far in the room. Its really too loud.

The bass is responsive and full, deep and clear. I have no imaging issues because I placed my sub in the correct location for my room. To add, I also have bass trapping and corner trapping as well as reflective treatment on 4 wall surfaces, equating to 180 cu ft. I have analyzed the rooms curve with and without the sub, and when setup correctly, the rooms response is tolerable for a small studio.

The bass isnt too much as long as I play it at a reasonable volume level. It did take me awhile to learn that less is more. I couldn't be happier with this sub, and plan to keep it till it pukes! I bought it open boxed or repaired, so it was only $300 bucks shipped. There are tons of settings on the back allowing for various conditions or connections, which I love, as well as the phase adjustment. The pedal has yet to crap out on me, its been two years since Ive made my purchase.

Its heavy... which means its made from quality stuff. Theres a good size magnet and a decent thickness in the cabinet. The padded feet work well for me, at a lower volume, on my hard wood floor. I havent had any noise complaints but I can easily make my ears hurt.

The lows are low, and the snap is present, I cant say much bad about it. Once I upgrade to the Adam sub, I will know what the difference between a $400 sub and a $1200 sub is. Till then, this sub is doing just fine and I could not ask for anything more from Presonus on this product.

The most important thing to do when using a sub is to know, know,... where to put it, and to what level it should be set at in ratio to your monitors. I leave things at unity, so my setup is flat with except to the sub which is turned way down to - 20 and below. My computer output is anywhere from 4- 50 for loudest comfortable listening.

The sub for my room, goes up front offset to the right about 3 ft from the front wall and 4 feet from the right side wall. The sub sticks out past my monitors by about 8 inches.

Once you have created a reflection free zone and your sub is properly placed off the floor and decoupled and in position, you should have clean and clear bass. my RFZ is rader wide, giving me around 2 feet to move front or back or side to side before I hear the sweet spot attenuate or accentuate.

Hope this helps anyone who is seeking a fair priced sub and wants a decent kick and bass... just turn it down and place it right, should be good to go!

Too add, I make drum and bass and techno, electro breaks, and house and all that kind of bass heavy crap. Sometimes it matters what genre is coming thru the drivers for others who are reading the reviews. sorry for typos but im too lazy to fix them

I regret to say this is the worst sub I dealt with. I do not understand so many optimistic reviews... Maybe the company sent some "custom" type for the reviews? No matter what you do it sounds "woofy". The onboard crossover pot does not let to set the cutoff precisely so even when set to 50Hz it is still woofy due to high level of about 200 Hz (!) harmonics. I thought that I could make it usable with mini-dsp and custom x-over. I tried with Neumann KH80's and the bigger KRK rp8. Even with small Neumanns the resulting bass was even worse due to the fact that it does not play uder 40 Hz whatsowever. I know it is not fair to compare this sub to Neumann KH750 DSP which I own, but also my son's Adam 7 sub albeit rather quiet plays very well.
Therefore I cannot recommend this sub I'm sorry.

I read that was a delay in it, I didn't belive it and I order one to thomann, well, mine was some ms of delay too, I tryed to change possition, phase and in the end I put on the desk close to speakers to can understand what's wrong, an was a delay, .. it ruins the sound... I tryed it with my dynaudio ldy 48... after one hour i packed and sent back... may be defect crossover? may be sub are not for me? but even in frequences i founded not nessesary , I don't produce electronic music and all that I need to ear come out from my monitors and other speakers I own to check my works...

I've been using this sub since summer of 2021 and have been very happy with it. I gave it a sound quality rating of "4" only because I don't have another sub to compare it to, and it is not matched to my satellites, which are Focal Shape 65's.

That said, I have never experienced any of the issues other "one-star reviewers" gave. Why anyone would expect "snap" and "attack" out of a sub is beyond me. Those are upper-range frequencies that come out of full-range monitors, not subs. Subs only reproduce the lowest frequencies, they aren't designed to reproduce a cymbal or snare drum or even the attack of a pedal on a kick drum. In that regard, the Temblor 10 does what you need it to do...giving you the lows below the range of your near fields, even if their frequency range is listed as "30 hz to 20,000 hz". I've never met a near field monitor that really reproduces anything below 50hz, and I've been recording in studios for 45 years.

You might get a little more definition from a more expensive sub such as the Focal Sub One. But for the money, you can't go wrong with the Temblor 10. It does what it says "on the tin". I certainly can't turn its' volume control all the way up, it will just shake the walls of my entire house if I do. One thing you learn with this product (or any sub, for that matter) is that a little goes a long way, and you actually don't need to mix as loud as you did without a sub, because you don't need to turn up your listening level as much to "feel" the bass. Meaning it will help save what's left of your hearing, AND you'll get better mixes and masters.

well i use the Presonus t10 with a pair of Eris E44 satelites presonus and im very happy with it. great stuff for my guitar recording and mixing i see no flaws in it for the price. i guess tastes are no to discuss but its a great sub if u know what u doing. they connected to audient id 22 interface and imac mini i7 thats my set up. dont understand the bad reviews about it aiai thats all.
