There's not a whole lot to say on these things. It's 2019 and the Protools world has moved across to Eucon so you'd think that these things would no longer be supported.

Well you'd be wrong.

Its 2019 and ye olde command 8 is still fully supported! It is literally plug it in and it "just works".

They are getting old now but it's still possible to find one in great condition for very cheap.

Built like a tank and I know of many people who prefer these over an artist mix.

It controls everything well in Protools. Absolutely flawlessly...but there are a couple of things.

- No automation buttons. You have to arm a track for automation using the mouse (dumb).
- Not expandable.
- Its completely useless with anything other than Protools.

Other than those things...its a great controller that is UNBVELIEVABLY good value.

If you're after a great, cheap controller that isn't hamstrung by HUI then get one or 2 (for parts) of these.

They're great!
