It's getting harder to ignore FL Studio if you consider electronic music to be music. (Otherwise, no changes to attention span LOL).

it is a full featured music making environment. around 1999 i bought a copy for $99. i was using windows for music at the time and wanted to mess around w/it. i had the install disc. 20+ years went by and i forgot i had it.. using macs for music for many years now..

so, i went to their site, put in my info and viola! i could download and use the latest version.. all updates are free forever.. that's pretty cool.. so, now i can mess around w/it again.. after 20+ years. and i gotta say.. it's fun and extremely capable and can be super nerdy and deep but also quite fast.

FL is pretty dope really.. ben jordan's "FL studio super powers" video is worth a look.

I am using Flstudio for my live performance this weekend. It is playing the music and running my DMX lights. They are very close to making it a super power house for live playing. Video coming soon.
