FL Studio MIDI Workflow
Hi, I will try this forum as it seems the FL Studio one is mostly young folks using sample clips and doing a different genre. No replies to any advanced questions.
So I did my transition to FL from Cubase. For the most part, fairly straightforward. But I am running into odd issues I am wondering if others who use FL might be able to advise on.
When I have a project in 1/2 time, I record the audio, and the audio track is in resampled mode and in straight time. I have to manually go in and change the audio to streach in order to get it to sound like what it did when I was monitoring it while recording. Is there a setting to fix this so it records correctly as what the MIDI track is set to?
My other issue is, my MIDI controller has preset MIDI CC that sends to channel 41 and 42 by default. I re-configured the VST to use those CC's. But when I want to record the articulations, I have to manually go into parameters and map those in FL, in essence repeating what I did to the VST. Is there a more streamlined way or doing this so that FL automatically detects and records the articulations what have been set in the VST?
