mixing together multiple tracks in FLStudio

Hi,

I want to create a long album with my tracks in FL.
I want the tracks to flow into each other like they do in "are you Shpongled?".
It's just that...if you want to create the whole album in one project there will be soooo many channels. I don't think that's the most efficient way to do it...there has got to be a more fluid option.
So let's say I've got like 5 projects and I want to mix them together with transitory sounds and effects. Which is the best way to go ahead?

make the tracks.

then mix the tracks to make your continuous album

It’s a good question. I have a very similar situation where I’ve made a bunch of different grooves, but they are saved as projects. So I think you were trying to ask how can you mix projects into one continuous one?
