How long will intro price last?

Interested to you know on what you use the 58 and where you see the 280 working.

I have the 58 but must admit I've never really got around to using it yet. But I like the 280 on drums so far while I'm trialling it.

58 for me is all about thickening... usually vocals. It adds real girth.

I'm finding the 280 a lot more versatile. You can throw it on anything you want a bit more hair on, or go crazy sculpting in a more transformative way.

Just posting this while freezing a super dirty indie guitar part, ended up with the 280 on one mic to add grit and tame the high end, then the 3 mic group got a taste of Audiopunks Echomixer preamp, into another 280 with more subtle settings but it brought out the midrange growl. It still had some squealiness but I didn't want to low-pass it, just wanted to soften the high end, so after trying a couple of tape machines I ended up with Jesse's suggestion of the IK 3340. Worked a treat!

Very nice sounding plugin.

I use 58 in line mode on all my bass drums I filll until it just burst lovely, thin snares, bass, synth bass, electric piano and more. basically everything that needs a fuller tone and character. The 58 is fantastic on vocals that need a fuller tone also with its special filter. 280 is more bright in its color a completely different tone and I think it clipped the sounds better, such as snare's hi-hat's, perc, synth arps and more 280 works on everything. Cut a couple of db on the perc group snare and clap group. without any audible flaws. I find that you get a more homogeneous picture of your music a fuller ID with these tools and it is also easier to mix your music with these colors in your sounds.

The Drift setting is entirely different per 1% change.
Set up a null test with the plugin on each instance then adjust the Drift on one track by 1% at a time and see the difference.

the thought of filling out the form with all the info they require when i already own kiive and mixland plugs , in order to get the demo, has actually stopped me thus far to demo.
i am sure i will get around to it but i hate that order system just to demo….

it appears that i dont have an account at mixland but yes it does populate at kiive. however kiive have taken the telephone number section out ( probably complained about it sometime ago).
i had 4 addresses on that one.
the telephone number at mixland takes forever if you put in a country that you are not familiar with, as it obeys the format used for the said region. i think it is over zealous and unnecessary.

Well, don't type in a country you aren't familiar with. They arent gonna track you down if you select your actual country...It takes longer to type how you don't like it on Gearspace, than to actually do it, with correct info or not

not sure why you are getting involved here . i am not concerned with tracking, it is just a complete hassle to download a demo particularly with having to put in a telephone number. hopefully mixland will do what kiive did with removing the telephone part.
in reality their system really only needs an email address for the download as you cannot transfer licences on kiive or mixland.

however it is perhaps pure laziness on my part as the default address is US and i saw little need in having to open the drop down to scroll down to UK and start from there and then fill in the form.
hence the issue with the telephone format that i found.
not a real biggie just pointing it out as a user that hopefully the company can make changes if they are aware of some peoples thoughts.

What I see is someone spending more time talking about how a 30 second process has kept them from downloading a demo, than actually taking the 30 seconds to put in enough fake info to download the demo...

No, you don't have to "open the drop down and scroll down." Just start to type "United" and it will it will pop up before you even get to "t". I live in the US. And I NEVER scroll. By the the time I type "I" its the second of only two remaining options.

Your gripe just isn't a legitimate one. Neither Kiive ir Mixland knows my real number, and it didn't take me half a day to think of an alternative to type in

I had just come back to actually correct myself. I went to do the demo checkout, and noticed that they don't actually allow you type in the country. But they do auto-populate the country of your IP address, so in my case the US came up immediately as soon as the checkout page opened.

I have no bone to pick with you. GS just gets overboard with the trivial things they find issues with sometimes. It's all good bro.

on an ipad , the keyboard doesn’t come up but the drop down menu does have uk below us at the top.
however any auto populate on my system will show the vpn which currently is belgium and i am not familiar with that language let a lone their digit country codes

the main thing is both kiive and purafied have taken out the telephone section ( the three including mixland ) who use this same system.
i am sure it has been mentioned before but mixland is the only one who has not re-adjusted their form to take the telephone out after several others have mentioned it and the other two companies changed their forms due to this.

i hope that one day Eddie or Jessie hits you up with a call to beta test their latest and greatest.
