Does it work with Cubase 11 in the new 2.5.9 version ?
Ive read earlier two users that it is not working in cubase 11

I've not been able to use Trackspacer for about two years (authorization issue) - the 2.5.9 fixed that - working fine under Cubase 11.

I saw some videos Where Trackspacer not saving with option "bounce in place" track in Logic. For example after side chaining with Trackspacer new bouncing audio track work without side chain(
But if Bounce like global bounce when save all tracks it work.
Any ideas? it still bug?

Don't use Logic but a workaround could be just to export the whole session with only the Trackspacer tracks solo'd, then re-import.

Yes this way is work, but so many time gone with every update TrackSpacer and this bug can't fix(

Is it just me, or is the scale of the gain reduction graph kinda strange? Anytime I'm doing this kind of sidechain ducking, I'm typically looking to do something like 2 - 6 dB of reduction. The first indicator line looks like it's 10bB, so 2 or 3 dB is practically not even moving on the graph. The way it is would kinda indicate that they expect people to be doing between 20 and 40 dB of reduction. Is anyone really doing that much? The scale of the "Amount" knob is kinda indicating that as well. When feeding Trackspacer my normal sidechain signal that I would use when using ProQ3 or Soothe2 or ProMB or something for sidechaining, I need to keep the amount knob at like 1 to not get a boat-load of reduction. Even if I lower the level of the sidechain A LOT, I can still only get the Amount knob up to like 10ish before it gets crazy. Maybe something like a graph zoom feature would be helpful? I'd personally love to see the full graph cover something around a 10dB range instead of 60.

I don't have access to open up Trackspacer at the moment but I usually aim for about -10db GR and then use the Amount knob to mix it in to taste/need. Usually end up around 20% (which meters out around -2db using Letimix GainMatch). I think what the graph is displaying is the amount of reduction if the plug is set to 100% wet on the Amount knob. Hope that helps.

I just use it to know where the gain reduction is happening - how much gain reduction I tune by ear.

Your envelope settings don't seem to correlate with what happens on the graph too (always seems to slowly morph back to a flat line even on fast Release setting). So, ultimately, the visual looks cool but is practically useless for precise measurement.

Still an irreplaceable, powerful tool for me.

Me thinks this is why we may not see a side chain function in the new Equalizer plug? I kinda tricked Trackspacer way back to do what Equalizer is kinda doing now (with a lot more functionality and usefulness!). But if a sc was included in Equalizer we may no longer need Trackspacer.

I use my ears, rather than relying on a numeric value of supposed gain reduction, and I'm not sure how anyone could do otherwise when mixing a song.

I think everyone else on the planet does too, but they chose to put a graphic representation of what's happening on the plugin, so shouldn't it be at least somewhat accurate?

If you had an EQ that said you were boosting at 2k when you were actually boosting at 400hz, yeah, you'd use your ears to find the frequency you want, but you'd probably also ask what the heck the manufacturer was doing labeling it as 2k.

If Wavesfactory didn't have a graph/metering at all, it wouldn't be an issue, but it seems weird to me to have metering that's clearly way off.

I find that the gain reduction line is showing a blown up version of what it's actually doing, which conflicts with the db reduction graph (-20db,-40db, etc). So while I do appreciate that it's showing a lot of information even for the tiniest gain reduction, I can understand the confusion;



You'd think my source is being compressed by 20db in the bass region, but it's actually being compressed by like 1-2db at most because I set the amount to 0.5%.

Interesting about the snare/vox. Do you duck the snare for the vocals or the other way around? And what genre are we talking about?
