Sorry Jules, there is an old thread about this already. To recap, its awesome (best tuner I've ever used). And if you use an A/V cable into the headphone port, you can get an audio in into the iPhone, and tune yer electric guitar.

Okay - I was doing a rough demo today and it was time to track some dobro (or resonator, if you prefer). It was time to get a decent tuner for my iPhone, so I just searched on "guitar tuner" and scrolled thru the listings. As soon as I saw this guy I bought it. Works like a charm - exactly what I needed!

Where could a groovy cat such as myself procure such a cable? One that works with the early version of the iPhone of course.

Learnmedia's post details what to get. Also, you would still need the adapter to get it into the 1st gen iPhone headphone port. The audio in will also work for the 4 track programs, etc.

For current Peterson owners: this app does not include the GTR temperament, so it's not a replacement for the hardware units or StroboSoft if you use that setting.
