Am intrigued, only because it seems cool to have '3-in-1' with that tuner added (nice for correcting pitch of samples etc), autogain.. Might be a true 'workflow/speed improver'

Don't know what it's worth (i don't trust the PA team, answering questions on socials tbh) but i did read this on FB:

you’ll find that the compressor behavior is very different to our other Brainworx plugins, the bx_enhancer is its own thing altogether. Same goes for its other features and character.

How PA continues like this......well, I already have everything I want and need from them. I have already given them enough money. Now it's time to look elsewhere.

As for the complement, I don't plan to try it, it's 49.99 for me. but it's more of the same. a mini Masterdesk??

Well I have a voucher I can use. I find it useful in some areas. It's like it's name says. It enhances what's already there, but that's not unique is it. I can hoard the voucher or use it, funk it, I'll use it.

I found out you can't use a $25 voucher if you get the 49.99 price as it takes this price as the voucher and they are not stackable. Of course if you have the F29 voucher or a larger voucher you might be able to use that.

Are PA still a thing? I got bored of them ages ago (I still use what I bought though).

When they discontinued their $25 vouchers for existing customers, it was then I realised how insane their prices were and how easy it was to walk away.

Yes, it still exists....under Native Instruments. But since Dirk sold the company things have changed a lot. no longer in terms of prices and offers, but in terms of approach... They have only just launched a BX plugin, clearly you have to give them time, but I hope they are not making "rehashed" or "simple" plugins without first renewing the that they already have (which I think they won't, because they always give the same excuse...)

I have loads of older BX plugins that need a little TLC, like resizable GUIs. Perhaps one day... but I doubt it.

They will come one day and tell us: due to the large catalog of accessories and being able to combine schedules and efforts to renew everything, we have done the math and it doesn't compensate us, that's why we will have to leave them as they are. but stay tuned because we will be releasing very exciting new things soon...

Tbh I quite like this. Simple workflow and solid results.

It gives pretty good results.

Proactivity creates an efficient and secure process.

Last month I subscribed to PA to really take my time and go through the catalog. I rarely have enough time to dig deep and have missed a lot of releases.

Love this plugin. It has the all the conventional tools to mix, granted without the conventional workflow, but I can’t argue with the results.

I can’t imagine why anyone would side eye this release even if it’s using available coding from other releases. It’s implemented really thoughtfully.
