Hi guys, apologies for the radio silence. It has been a long summer with family consuming my time more than usual - two kids off to college last weekend, and now both my parents (whom have Alzheimers) are finally in stable environments. Also mastering was heavier than usual, so this summer was not fun, tho we did make it to Kauai, where I sat on the beach for a week doing absolutely nothing.

I note that the Ghost Analogue cables ( the non + version) are still available in your website. The description says that they are using tellurium connectors which seems to be the same as the Ghost + .
The regular Ghost XLR connectors use tellurium contacts. The Ghost connectors are closer to Neutrik or Switchcraft, but with better contact pins.

I note that the Ghost + are cooked by cable cookers and has Tech Flex. Apart from these, what are the differences between the Ghost /Ghost + ?
Ghost+ uses AECO connectors which are
not cheap. The cable is wrapped in a clear Tech Flex which we have found reduces static interaction a touch (especially true for certain flooring material), plus it looks better.
Then the cables are cooked for 3 days. Ghost+ is a little overkill for most studio jobs, but this is a cable that I wanted for myself in the mastering room so I figured others may want it as well.

Any key differences in terms of sonic ?
The biggest difference I hear comes from the burn in (which I agree is hard to accept), but once both Ghost and Ghost+ are equally burned in, they are VERY close. The AECO connectors sound clearer and slightly sharper sounding top to bottom - ideal for monitoring IMO. It's not a big difference, but it is helping our modest cable compete with some very expensive cable.

Note that you are offering DIY kits for the normal Ghost. When will these be available?
About a month ago 108 spools (1000 feet each) were delivered into our garage. It sat there till a few days ago when we started spooling cable on this crazy machine, temporarily setup in our kitchen:
Give me another few weeks to figure out packaging and also to get more connectors/solder which we will include in the kits before it all goes live on our webstore. If you want raw cable now you can PM me and ill do one off shipments at $2/ft which will be the street price everywhere.

(PS. In my experience, the solder type and solder techniques both affect sound quality of the cables. Therefore, different DIYers and different cable assembly shops will yields different results of the finishing cabled. The good news is that DIYers will be able to use different solders to adjust the sound. I also agree that Tellurium copper or copper sounds better than brass or bronze)
Yep, 100%. I'm planning on making assembly videos when I find more free time to help keep DIY variability low. Thanks for your questions Andy!
