Sony releases C-80 Uni-Directional Condenser Microphone

Sony releases the C-80 Condenser Microphone combining the C-100 capsule and the same diaphragm material used in the C-800G. The new C-80 has noise elimination construction, dual diaphragm configuration in order to supress the proximity effect and much more.
Sony today announced a new microphone for studio recording, the C-80, a uni-directional condenser microphone ideal for vocal/voice recording, instrumental recording, vlogging and podcasting. This new product inherits the technology of the Sony revered C-800G and popular C-100 microphones, making high quality sound even more accessible.

The new C-80 will be available in Europe from November 2022 and joins the Sony lineup of Professional Audio products including the MDR Series of headphones, and wireless microphone systems such as UWP-D Series and DWX Series.

- "Noise Elimination Construction" developed for the C-800G/C-100 prevents microphone body acoustic vibration, resulting in low noise and clear sound.
