To succeed in this direction you need a miracle unless you wind back this refusal to support your customers who paid for the P900. Real hardware doesn't stop working when an OS gets updated, and a manufacturer who is in business will normally provide service directly or via a partner. You took our money and now tell us, only a short while later: your software is gone, support is gone, and you can't even download the last release.

sorry, as good as the Delay and the P900 sound, but the pricing policy of some plugin companies (also PA for example) is taking off to very high regions

Can you list a product that competes with Lunar Lander. A plugin(s) that has Plate Reverb, Analog Delay and Saturation? And at what price range?
Can the competitor deliver zero delay compensation (which means you can track musicians with the Lunar Lander plugin inserted)? Minor & Major version upgrades are free to users. Can the competitor deliver these features in less than 3% cpu utilization, as such, you can use LL as inserts on many tracks in your DAW? Does the plugin come in iOS format (free of charge to our desktop users)?
In future posts, when products are released, we can discuss their merits and price point entry.
ps: We hope to have LL v2 in a week's time with its iOS counterpart, where it will have Lock 2 DAW (SYNC to DAW bpm) with subdivisions, and many of the Reverb parameters accessible for editing/automation.

Why should anyone give you money when you will just pull the plugin off your site after a year or two and then drone on about how great you are instead of apologising and offering refunds or proper support?

P900 was written in xCode around 2015 and is not multi-platform compatible. We are a new company that purchased the Intellectual Property (source code) in late 2019. Only way to launch and build the code was to start with an old OS X and xCode version which we did and did one update to the P900 to run under the latest OSX. We updated the database of all P900 users where they can log to backend to see their purchases, activate and de-activate licenses. We are also honoring license transfers and updating ownership when P900 is sold between users. There is a KVR forum post dedicated to the Pulsar P900, if you wish to trace it. Hope we focus our discussion here on Lunar Lander.

Tell us why we should have any confidence in a company who abandons customers who have already bought the product and tries to sell it to them *again* with a vastly increased price?

How long will this overpriced delay plugin last before you pull another vanishing act and reappear as a "new company who purchased the source", asking for more?

Why should we spend money on something which might disappear any minute, when the cost is in the realms of hardware or multiple quality plugins which will be properly supported?

I do understand ending support for a plug-in due to technical reasons, but it is lousy how existing customers are treated. Why can’t we still download the P900 software we bought? Did I miss that explanation? Has an upgrade path to the upcoming version been mentioned? It appears that part of what the new owners bought was the customer base, but they aren’t doing anything for those customers. I really would buy Lunar Lander but I don’t trust this company.

We usually wait for a P900 customer to contact us, thereafter, send the P900 installer.
We did not keep a link on the p900 webpage, so as browsing users can not download, install then ask for support. I will update the p900 webpage to clarify this issue and ask P900 users to contact us for license transfer, activation or download link to the P900 app. (Or maybe have p900 installer there with a warning message).
No upgrade path mentioned because we were not clear on dates.

P900 customers will get a substantial discount on the P900 upgrade once released, moreover, they will be able to get preferential discounts on all our product line.

If you look at Lunar Lander download link, you will see the speed in version updates- which includes added features requested by users. Even on a 3 modules from P900 (Reverb, Delay and Saturation) it showed us how much work is involved to get users satisfied with a product. So this has been a training period for us and I hope we will move faster in future product development.
It is not easy expanding LL while keeping it running at 3% cpu load, zero sample delay compensation, resizable GUI, touchscreen compatible (WIN) and sounding smooth. We hope to announce next week the iOS version.
Our target is to get P900 to run off your iPad once released.
A behind the scene story. We bought the Intellectual Property of P900 because of a simple reason... I had goosebumps when I played the P900- which never happened to me playing a VST synth. I believed in this product and did not want it to be forgotten. So I want from all of my heart to bring P900 back and I am betting on it with my time, money and my brother’s money

all this ( and I guess there are a few plugins, that also can do "Plate Reverb, Analog Delay and Saturation" at the same time) does not justify for me to buy a plugin code and triple the prices. You can do, and the Lunar Lander sounds great, but still it is xxx

Looking at Echoboy at $199 or PSP 2254 EMT at $149 or UAD reverb, I see Lunar Lander falling within the retail price range.
Of course, we will do bundle discount, once we have a collection of released plugins. However, I suspect, the issue that gets users upset, is using the original price of P900 as a reference to gauge other Pulsar Modular plugins value.
Simply stated, the price model of the P900 is not sustainable. Especially, when you try to break from the pack of recycled DSP code. To do that, you will need several different people to work on the project, one being a mathematician, DSP coder, Electric Engineer, an iOS developer, a 3D illustrator, a web developer with e-commerce experience. Also you need someone savvy with Social Media to handle video editing and posting.
I hope, as we build more products and cycle our own DSP code among our products, that we can bring the price down and/or do regular discounts. Meanwhile, those who buy now into Pulsar Modular plugins at their premium price, benefit from using their sonic capabilities before others can.
PS: Lunar Lander version 2.1 will be released next week with added features (LPF in the Delay module, Sync modulation Rate to DAW bpm or to internal BPM [up to 3000 bpm] for some nasty electronic music effects and few other tweaks). We also have Ping Pong in the to-do list queue.

those are industry staples for decades, you didn't grew up in the world enough to reach. and I'm not just talking DSP here. there are quite a few other factors that influence customer's decision to invest their money into a brand and part ways with, say, 500$ for a product. any product.

first and foremost, there has to be trust established, which is not the case with you. to the contrary, your practices are questionable and don't exhibit the signs of trust. the same reason I avoid ripoffs like 8dio and Spitfire.

500 bucks for a plugin... no, never, not in a thousand years, not anywhere on this planet. and, frankly, I don't care how many people you pay off.

you can boast and hype all you want and be engaged in this self-appraisal, you don't know synthesizers better than Urs Heckmann does, period. and that gentleman runs an expert team in Berlin, a team of professionals who I trust, he pays everybody off and still doesn't price his synths anywhere near 500$. merely because he's an adequate person, I suppose. but he's not the only one. rather an example, or, to rephrase, one of exemplary developers in the business.

Demoing this thing and my first reaction is that for a "premium" plugin at a high price tag, the UI is super amateurish. The plate size knob looks like a cheap copy+paste job in windows Paint.

Sounds pretty convincing so far, though. But I wish that for all the times the dev here is throwing around the word "premium" , he could back it up with a higher quality UI.

As for GUI, it is something that I liked and I got many hate letters for doing it this way . The Plate Knob was taken from the original P900, as a reminder of where it all started from. Think of it as a cyborg with mixed parts not relating to each other.
Future products will be more streamlined and within "proper" GUI standards.

It’s a real shame you pulled this from the iOS AppStore. Many of us paid for the In App Purchase and thought highly enough of your work to take an interest in your desktop apps as well. Not a good look to just yank it.

The iOS version at $10 a piece and then Apple taking 30% leaving us with $7 has been a big financial burden on us.
The constant updates Apple does to its iOS means we need to keep investing resources to keep the app compatible with newer versions.
Recently Apple dropped their commission for starter companies to 15% which is a bit of a relief. But by that time, we decided to pull out from the iOS market, for the time being, until we release few desktop apps that generate some income. Thereafter, we would return to the iOS platform.
We need to have several desktop apps to justify hiring a full time iOS programmer and work on porting them.
We hope to return to the iOS platform this winter.

I got to know you guys on P42 and bought a Lunar Lander during the recent sale. I am really amazed. Needless to say the delay and reverb sounds great, but the amp section is astounding. I would love to see you release a plug-in with options for this amp by itself. I don't plug in plug-ins to my master bus, but this amp is the only one I want to plug in. I'd be happy if you'd consider it! I love it.

If you have never tried it, I urge you to give it a try, it is different from the P42.

You are correct. I used to turn off the reverb and delay and only use the output section.
We are working on the next major upgrade of Lunar Lander and it will have our signature Oversampling codex which will bring a more enhanced stereo image- perfect for your 2-bus insert.

I am really looking forward to the new Lunar Lander major version!!

After demoing the current version lately, which I really like a lot, I would very like to see:
- Option to turn off Reverb processing to save CPU time
- Option to turn off Delay processing to save CPU time
- Rename button "Sync" near Modulator to "Link" (as it links to Clock knob)
- Rename button "DAW" to "Sync" (meaning Sync with Host)
- Add additional "Sync" button beside Modulation Rate to allow it to be in Sync with Host as well ("Link" button will have precedence of course)
- Dotted Note Icon shall not affect Clock speed when Sync to Host is off
- Because Triplets are missing (bummer!!) and Modulation Rate shall be syncable as well, it would be best to remove the Dotted Note Icon in favor of an improved Sync Rate Selector Popup covering dots and triplets as well
- Modulation waveform selector
- Option to switch LPF to sit in the feedback loop instead and add a Resonance knob as well
- The promised Ping Pong mode

To save cpu? The whole plugin takes less than 0.1% cpu.
Triplet is not missing unless in your DAW it is not working. Lunar Lander was our first product. It needs a good overhaul.
Our new policy is to get GS users involved in beta testing. So once we are ready to go into beta, we will announce it here and give everyone access.

FYI: FL Studio sees this plugin as a synth rather than an effect. It's not usable. Win 10, latest FL Studio... Lander Demo...

FL Studio might wrongly label your P42 Climax as a SYNTH instead of EFFECT. In this case, uncheck verify plugin and then rescan everything, thereafter, you should be able to categorize P42 manually as an EFFECT.

Anyway, yeah I got it to work by:

Deleting the preset, turning off the verify setting, turning on the rescan
prev. verified setting, rescanning and manually setting it as an effect,
then turning on verify again and rescanning to fix all the broken listings
from doing that. Took a while
