Summary of the intro video of new features:

New processing mode: Natural Phase
Improved performance of zero latency and linear phase modes

Full screen/ resizable display

New filters: Band-Pass, Tilt-shelf, Notch filter

Filter slopes up to 96dB/oct

Linked gain-Q option to create adaptive q's depending on gain to match some analogue EQ's

Phase invert, auto-gain on master out, seperate master gain-scale for all filters.

New piano keyboard scale to snap bands to musical notes.

Analyser options: New slopes, vertical scale setting, freeze analyzer, spectrum grab (grab a peak on spectrum), Side-chain spectrum for multi-input spectrum comparisons, EQ match function.

Just saw this, FF is without a doubt one of the top 3
plugin company out there, big fan of their stuff

They've stated on Facebook that "CPU performance is twice as good! It uses half of v1" and when questioned on upgrade pricing stated: "Of course! 50% to 65% discount depending on the products you already own + grace period for those who recently purchased Pro-Q"

It's interesting how version 2 seems to be loaded with new features while the gui still retains it very focused and simple style.
Maybe it's just because of dan worrall... but after watching the video twice i feel like i already know my way around the upgrade quite well.
That's the kind of User Interface Design i like. Very very nice.

I totally agree, Dan Worrall is awesome! And I think the main competition for Pro-Q has always been DMG EQuilibrium, and the interface on Pro-Q2 is looking SO much better than the DMG offering.

One of the best just got much better. The eq grab thing is genius.

Ok, they never fail to impress me. Despite having EQuilibrium and liking it simpy I returned to the Pro-Q after one month of using EQuilibrium due to the speed, perfect workflow, superb GUI and Fabfilter stability. But this update will make this EQ unparalleled. I am IMPRESSED (like always with Fabfilter)!

Auto gain, that alone is something EVERY eq should have

Genius the autoQ/gain too, seriously with this one
you don't need any other plugin eq.
As for Equilibrium vs ProQ, it was never a challenge,
ProQ ergonomics and ease of use wins over anything else

Wow. These guys are at the top of the ergonomics/feature set game. Killer!

This one will be used on every track very soon :D

And they did it again @Fabfilter are just indeed one of the Top Best plugins Dev in the industry and on top a great long video tuto done by the one & only @DanWorall (this guy his simply one of the best M-E I know & work with). What else can we ask for? Whatever they bring out always gets better and better ;-)

P.S Is it me or this Eq is sounding really great, it sound to my ears that they have improved the audio quality, sound smooooooth especially when boosting the highs ;-)

Pro-Q2 automatically wins for me since it actually exists. I'm done speculating on vaporware from the Slate/Eiosis camp (AirEQ was re-announced in Jan 2013... 20 months in the digital world might as well be 10 years)
