Does anyone here actually use the Filterbank EQ plugins? I've owned them for years and recently upgraded to 5 because I got a good price. But seriously, they are my last resort EQ. I even use EQIII over them.

Is there something I'm missing? Does anyone here have any feelings about this plugin bundle?

I've never been put off by anything McDSP. Personal preference, b/c my go to EQ is ReaEQ. Simple, clean, and gets me where i want to go.

I like them. The eq seems to take a bit of the harshness away from my digital recordings. I use them somewhere in most mixes along with FabFilters, Sonnox, and waves H EQ.

Filterbank has been my go to EQ for years but I'm not crazy about the new v5. I'm kinda moving away from it since the legacy versions are evidently not going to be converted to AAX.

Seems like u r definitely missing something. The E6 EQ & even their filters (F1 & F2) sound & work great. The high shelf boost on the E6 has a great air to it that's never harsh like some other software EQs. Great for adding back some high end after compressing busses. For me, on vocals, guitars, piano, & keys=yes. Drums & bass=usually not, always sounded too smooth for these.

I love McDSP stuff. BTW- their G Channel is a monster too. Try it on a bus or stereo bus too.

Any other diehard McDSP people out there?
