not tried it but heard its good...anything AITB will be likely good as they have a lot of expertise sampling...being some of the forerunners...Its only about £6 I think - give it a shot!

Thanks for the reply. The price is good, wish there was a basic demo though. Even though it is cheap, I'm not sure I need it compared to the other console options.

I installed the Nebula3 free bundle that comes with a few presets.
To be honest: those few presets did not convince me. Some EQs and compressors sound really really bad compared to my UAD plugins.

Are the commercial add-ons better than those free ones?

Commercial libraries are from different world!

Yep, I can vouch for that as well. I just bought a bunch of libraries from almost all of the official program developers. Sound totally OTB. Can't say I'm even going to use the programs you get with Nebula Pro, but the third party stuff is INSANE.

Which programs you can recommend and why?
I already have the UAD-2 quad with all plugins (except Manley and Studer) plus everything from elysia and Softube.

I have to say out of curiosity I ended up giving their tube console bundle a shot, but was not impressed compared to their other libraries. I kindly asked for a refund since their is no demo to try before hand, but haven't heard back yet.

EDIT: Ok, they did get back to me and offer a credit voucher.

How does the Nebula Studer compare to the UAD Studer? Any examples of it? Can you just buy the VTM-M2 by CD soundmaster? Is it the same since cd soundmaster plug is also used in Nebula?

The vtm m2 isnt based on nebula techology. Visit CDSoundMaster Software Online for info. It does complement his nebula tape programs, but you can use it as stand alone.

I read a review where the reviewer had both. He said they were both very good but considering the price difference the nebula is fantastic.

Hi all

was browsing their site and these look really cool

can someone help me with these questions i couldn't find out for sure

1) mac is supported correct? on a mac pro here latest OSX
2) 64 bit on mac?
3) would use in cubase 6, or possibly PT 9, how are these in those DAW's?

2. Don't know.
3. Runs fine in Logic here. Sounds great, "user experience" is less than stellar however. IMHO.

works fine on snow leopard

I dont think 64 bit is supported yet for mac

My user experience is fantastic - there are some issues around work flow given that most computers are not fast enough to run loads of instances at once but there are work arounds and the solutions are improving all the time.

I can honestly say that nebula is the best investment I have made in audio apart from bass traps (including expensive microphones, converters, preamps, eq and compressors)

Nebula works fine, once you have it successfully installed. I mean basically things are presented graphically in a way that is not intuitive, fun, or easy to work with. Not horrible, certainly worth the effort, but lots of little bumps in the road that could be smoothed out, IMHO. YMMV.

Can you explain - i have lost subgroups with the new menu - it is just a long list of presets and it takes ages to scroll through
