If you read the other main thread about Aether here you will see that they already have an alternate "2d" skin designed - search for it and you can comment there to the developers about what you think of the new look.

Just got it now....finally a decent reverb that I believe sounds like hardware.... The PSP84 wasn't bad but I didn't like the interface. I've also used alot of Waves verbs....but nothing blew me away.
