Figured I'd check to see if there is a new version of VSX, so I go to run Slate Digital Connect (don't get me started on how much I hate these crapware bundles of "joy" that every plugin manufacturer has to release)... which says I need a new version, which tries to download, then fails to connect to Internet (lol)... so I figured I'll just grab it from their website. Nope, can't even search for it. Try Google search, can't find it, but find a KB article where it has a link to their installers... which are on a totally different domain/platform now... (completeaccess.audio)... that asks me to login (lol), just to download something that's going to ask me to authenticate anyways... so I login... then it's this 10-page survey I have to hit skip 10 times to get past... just to finally download the crapwad Slate Digital Central, where I realize that VSX isn't part of this crapwad, but another crapwad, Steve Slate Audio Center.

Jesus wept.

It's a different company - they separated the two.

Slate drums, Trigger and VSX are on one company; the plugins are a different company.

To be honest - I don't find it that intrusive. It works, I just log in every couple of weeks to make sure I'm up to date!

Yup..you just never got the news that Steven Slate sold Slate Digital and left.
