I sometimes work on tracks with a couple of other people who like to use the D16 plugins like Decimort, Devastor etc - I don't have these myself but we usually get around it by printing those tracks, however I'm keeping an eye on the Black Friday deals right now in the hope I can add the D16 bundle but I have one question:

The plugins on the site appear to be mostly V2 versions now and the projects I'm opening are saved on V1. Does anyone know if I buy one of their bundles right now do they come with licenses to also install the older V1 versions and can you still download them from the website?

If it's only V2 versions that I would getting I'm not sure it's worth me buying them as I think the plugin IDs would be different and I can't just load up things saved on the previous versions.

I'd be very grateful if anyone who has a V2 plugin on D16 can check their account and tell me if it comes with a license for the previous version?

One, v2's are, to me, vastly better - not sure how you're still using v1! :-)

Most plugins were at v2 when I bought the Silverline Collection a couple years ago, except for Syntorus. I upgraded when v2 came out and I do still have the v1 license as well as the v2. I believe, but could be wrong, that you keep what you have.

I suggest contacting D16 to be certain.

I don't have the effects but the v2 drum machines and synth are quality..

Don't know on the version thing but check Thoman for D16 pricing if you are in the US.

I do know that I bought a used Silverline bundle and it's stuck at v1 with no upgrade path. You might be able to get an old license for a deal (but again those aren't upgradable).

I only own Punchbox. Is there a "V2"version of it?
