Does your current interface have 5 pin midi in and out connectors? If not, then you will need a midi interface that connects via USB and has 5 pin DIN midi connectors.
I hear these are finicky with midi clock, but you need to make sure they are set to use midi as the clock source in the menu. Some people have mentioned needing to hook the output back into the midi interface input for the midi clock to work properly, so might keep that in mind if just connecting the midi in doesn't work. Also, I believe midi will pass thru these units (they generate midi cc's also), so you should be able to chain them together like: midi out from interface > midi in on dd 500, midi out from dd 500 > midi in on rv 500, midi out from rv 500 > midi in on interface. But if you need to purchase an interface (if your audio interface doesn't have midi connectors), might look for one with 2 sets of i/o in case they need to be hooked up separately (and you plan on using them simultaneously).
