Hi, I don't use this interface specifically, but I'm familiar with this situation. Are you wanting to use all analog outputs simultaneously? Because using outputs 3/4 are somewhat easier to setup if you only need a stereo pair at a time (as you've discovered). However, using both is possible. You will need to set it up in the id mixer application. The most straight forward would probably be setting up one of your cue mixes (I'll use cue mix A, but any would work) to receive DAW outputs 5/6 and then setting analog outputs 1/2 to output cue mix A. You can still use headphones to monitor with, just keep them set to main mix, which is probably already set up to work properly.
EDIT: just to be clear, you would then route audio on outputs 5/6 from your DAW to use the outboard gear connected to output jacks 1/2 of the Audient.
The send/return jacks on inputs 1 and 2 will not help for mixing. They are on the input side (before the ADC) and just give you a way to track these inputs with outboard gear before hitting the converter.
