Hello, I 've been planning my virtual mixer routing scheme in the FL Studio until I ran into a problem, or rather, I began to lack understanding of how the mixer works. I will try to describe what exactly I have on my mind and I hope to hear from you if it does work like that in
at least one DAW.
There is a
vocal bus, that gathers
lead,
backs and
airs. It processes the main tone of the voice, after what it must be sent to
reverb send. The question is:
is it possible to have separated "backs" output, to send it processed but separated, so no other bus signals will trigger the reverb?
I'm just learning how to use the software, yet I have seen that most people use
separate plugin chains for different vox tracks. Like, we just copypaste one track FX-state to others, so we get tripled (!) cpu consumption when played. Of course we can render audio and disable FX afterwards, but that just complicates
obvious tweaking of the knobs.
So is there a way to have
one instance (FX-chain) processing
all of our tracks and giving
separate outputs from itself?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Is
that the same question that I'm asking?
