I'm looking for something with an entire orchestra together. Just put chords.

For that kind of money, I'd suggest subscribing on a monthly basis to Eastwest (I'm not sure if there are other orchestral lib developers doing subs), downloading the Hollywood Orchestra (or whatever you want), work fast and cancel the sub when you run out of dosh!

Realistic orchestral libraries cost hundreds of dollars, unfortunately.

Personally, I want to gather some money to pay for a yearly subscription (200/300$ depending on sales), do as much work as I can, and if I'm lucky enough to make some money out of the pieces I make, buy a couple essential libraries from them afterwards when they're in discount. That seems like the best solution if you're cash-strapped like me.

Are you looking for a VST that "creates" a full orchestra arrangement from just playing chords? Sounds like that is what you want...something that generates a full orchestral movement from just playing a chord.

Anyway, for $30 to $40 you won't find any VST that does
that. The orchestral VST that "sort of" has full orchestral movements triggered by chords and one finger is the products from Sonokinetic. They are VERY expensive but sound great. And require some learning to use.

I think what you are looking for is typically described as "Ensemble" instruments, which usually come as a full string section, brass section and wood section separately.

There are quite a few free ones to play with, Project SAM, Primary Colors Pallettes, etc.

What I do sometimes is to stack a few in Kontakt and trigger them on the same MIDI channel so they all play at the same time.

A proper one will cost you at least $100 like VSL Big Bang collections.

I have this, and Garritan Personal Orchestra 5 ($149.95). They are the 2 cheapest I own.

I also have 2 different collections from EastWest, that are more realistic AND more expensive.

So, closest to your price, that I can see would be SONiVOX.

No, I don't think the OP is looking for ensembles. I think he wants something that produces a full, moving and evolving orchestra from simply holding a chord or a note. I also get the feeling he does not know how to arrange for an orchestra. That's why he stated he wants "entire orchestra" from "just put chords".

Albion One can kinda do that, but it's definitely not cheap.
