No, I use a synology box to sync to backblaze using amazon s3 protocol. I am not sure if there is a viable windows amazon s3 type client, I did look around and did not figure it out. I already had backups going to the synology device so I just added the mirror to backblaze.

I note my synology device has reported two unplanned shutdowns where my computer has not indicated an outage, so wondering if its ready to give up the ghost? It doesn't matter if it does, easy to reproduce the data from other sources.

I consider apple to have failed spectacularly in the desktop pc market--just look at market share. However, apple out hustled everyone else on making small devices, and that is why they are so dominant.

My nas is a qnap, which I'm just starting to use. I'll have to check out backblaze, I don't know much about it. Currently have Dropbox, icloud, and Google drive, looking to get rid of the latter two.
