Connecting Focusrite Saffire 56 interface to Apollo twin via ADAT.
Can anyone provide me with what I am doing wrong here?
I am trying to utilize my Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 to my new UA Apollo Twin MKII via the ADAT out of my focus rite and into the Apollo via the optical port.
I am not getting the UA console to recognize the additional ADAT inputs when they are connected. I'm not sure if I am supposed to set the Focusrite to standalone mode (I have it that way now) in the focus rite Mix Control software or not.
In the router section of mix control I have the Anlg 1-8 sections each routed to ADAT Output 1.1 etc.
Have you checked that the digital input is set to "ADAT" and not "SPDIF" in console settings > Hardware? (In the Apollo Console software, not MixControl).
If so, then click over to the IO Matrix tab and make sure the ADAT inputs are actually set up as inputs in Console.

Hello,
I know this is old, but were you able to get the Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 working with the Apollo Twin?
I have the new Twin X and I am thinking of getting a Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 to expand it, but I found this forum and would like to know if it works
