Scarlett not waking up after sleep (Mac)

Hi all!

When my iMac goes to sleep so does all external USB-devices, which of course makes perfect sense.

When I wake my Mac most of these devices wake up as well, but not my Scarlett 2i2.

If the computer is only asleep for a short time, the Scarlett wakes up as well, but not after having been asleep for longer periods. Since the Scarlett doesn't have any power button, it needs to be physically unplugged and replugged from the back to restart, which is quite annoying.

Anyone else having similar problems, or a solution?

Did you download the latest drivers? Or even the Gen. 2 drivers/?

Oh yes, of course.

I have tried multiple USB ports, cables, latest drivers, deleting old extensions, pref files, and plist files, etc. All according to Focusrites support.

I'm wondering if this is an issue with the Scarlett Drivers not being able to reinitiate after longer periods of sleep, or of it's more of a problem with external USB devices in general, originating from Mac OS.

I know Apogee supposedly fixed the problem with their drivers so this might be on Focusrites end.

It may be because you've left the phantom power on and the gain up. If I leave the solo like that and the computer goes to sleep, I have the issue you describe. But when I turn off the phantom and turn down the gain before the computer goes into standby, it wakes up perfectly.

This issue is still happening on 10.13.5 with the latest Focusrite drivers on a Scarlett 6i6.

Anyone find a solution?

is in windows, for me win7
I use a handy tool called usbtreeview from a German developer "https://www.uwe-sieber.de/"
I can designate your still-sleeping Audio interfaces wake by click restart device without haveing to unplug-replug usb cable or to reboot damn PC

I had to plug my 2i2 2nd gen to an USB2 powered hub to resolve this.
