dear aa, PLEASE can you uopdrade the installer Aquarius App sop Its a simple click to install all plugs as either rvst2 or vst3 or etc. And please add a simple way to uninstall that removes all mess.

I do appreciate how amazing silver is. I bet you are working on other effects units modulation etc, or emulations of other gear.

to install a preferred format click the gear icon top right in aquarius, then click settings. on the middle tab (installation) top right there is a selection drop down box. choose your preferred installation format from there.

once done i would close the program and restart it then look on your 'purchased' tab showing your product. each should show the installation format you selected previously in settings.

as for cleaning up a mess... i can't help on that one

Congrats to Acustica - Jam is an amazing plugin.... wow.

The different tones from the different models really let you customize it for different instruments and the Insert button adds extra depth.

Sounds killer on everything I've tried it on so far- vocals, bass, drum bus.

--BTW- does anybody else have a problem with the Magic Flow trial not showing up in Pro Tools (latest)?

I'm on iMac Pro Intel, Monterrey and the plugin exists in Avid/Plug-Ins folder.... hmmm

JAM (TRIAL) - rel A002

Jam is very good, no doubt. So of course I had to try a Peanut butter (Patchwork) and Jam sandwich (sat-wich) on the Mix Bus.

I put 3 instances of Jam Mix in the Parallel section in Patchwork (Parallel Optimized & Average), set them all to 4x OS, Clean Peaks @ 4x OS, 3dB of Gain. I tried 5dB of Gain too and it was even juicier.

Then I just experimented with combining 3 different saturation modes with the same base settings to hear how they blended.

WOW! The sum appears to be greater than the parts. And each set of 3 different saturators imparts a unique end result.

Naturally, I had to try this with some of the saturators I already have so I used Diamond (full @ 4xOS), SSL X-Saturator and Elysia Phil's Cascade, with the last two set @ 4xOS in PW.

WOW again! Actually, to my ears, it was on the same sonic level - just another stunning variation.

You just reminded me... would be nice to see a Celestial hyper update. Not sure if it's a priority or will even happen since it was a freebie (I think Celestial is part of Big Ceil now?)

Silly question from me maybe, but how (ive been away for a bit) how do we know which installers are hyper?

Just had a weird thing happen with Erin EQ.

I opened a Reaper session and it sounded way off. As soon as I disabled the Erin EQ instance on my vocal bus, it sounded fine again.
I looked at the EQ bands and it wasn't more than 1 db per band. Pretty wild that it would make such a huge difference.

Turns out that the 2k1 band, although at only +0.5db, sounded like cranked all the way to the max.
To get this straight: I'd set it to +0.5db, and in the GUI it looked accordingly too, but actually internally (?) it was set to +10db.

Has this happened to anyone else too?

I guess it's time for me to move on from Acustica. This is just another bug that is costing me time and money. As much as I like the sound, these plugins are way too unreliable in order to be used in a professional environment imho.

i have a bug with ERINEQST where my project wont load when i have it installed.

They're not unreliable for me and I'm using them all over the place. And there are thousands of pros who are using them every day. I doubt they would agree with you.

But if that's how you feel then you should sell them all and move on with other plugin companies who never have bugs in their plugins.

I've been using purple a lot and having fun with it. Compared to modern parametric EQs, the workflow is a lot different. There's a method to the madness though and it forces me to slow down and listen instead of using the spectrogram to assist in finding resonances.

Oversampling in Windows 11 seems to do nothing, I think I've mentioned this already. Of course, it's not compatible and it could just be me. That's all.

In this thread alone there are hundreds of complaints about bugs and unexpected behaviour in Acustica plugins.

It's a fact that I've lost hours of work due to crashes caused by Acustica plugins. And I'm far from the only one having this experience. Why is your reaction to that such a snarky one?
