Don't bother with the plugin manager. Sign in, go to "My Account". Scroll down to "Manage Plugins" and open that page. You will see your plugin and a quick click will drop down the download menu.

If it does not have a download then it should have your license and with that you should be able to download directly from Kirchoff.

Got a few of the modules over the years but never really installed to try them out. What is the problem with it?

I get email promos from plugin alliance for 2 different email accounts. (Long story, but not important.)

My primary account has a bunch of purchases.
The secondary one has none.

I received two promotional emails from them today:

Why would you want this if you use SD3? Or are you on SD2? While you won't be able to arrive at a degree where the SD3 tools null with SSL, I think you could get relatively close....if you know all your processing tools in SD3 and the routing. Listen mic compressor and transient shaper maybe excluded, but can't those tools be found elsewhere? I get it if you want to save a clean signal out of SD3 for a UAD AMS RMX linear. But did the Linear tool in SD3 somehow fail you? What does this SSL really bring to the table that you can't already achieve?

Or is this $20 a convenience quickie thing? Does SSL & $20 translate to "just buy it?"

My suggestion regarding any free, cheap or so-called no-brainer tools is give yourself a pause. Even the $999 plug but crazy Dirk is letting it go for $99 today only.

Stop and think for yourself where you will be in your career or hobby 1, 5, 10 even 20 years from now. Is this a casual interest, or do you think you use these tools daily?

Then if you can figure out the above, plan for it. Budget for BF. Know that traditionally SD3 isn't discounted at any time so if it's worth it, budget for it. Then really LEARN it! The same goes for Wavelab when you realize what can be achieved.

I think you will find a lot of these cheap tools loose that new car smell very quickly.

I did not use my $25 voucher. But @ tempsperdu was kind enough to share a $75 voucher so that I could buy The Oven for $25. I don't know if that invalidated my $25 voucher, but I doubt it.

The email to my inactive account instructed me to use the code KIRCHHOFF-12499 and then add my $25 voucher code to achieve the $99 price. So I guess it's perhaps targeted at people who have yet to cash in a voucher.

I don't really know anything about Kirchhoff or why I'd even want this particular EQ even at $99, so I'm not overly concerned.

Its a cool plugin for some quick sculpting.

The low and high exciters are ok if you use em subtle (esp the high one is very risky to overdo) The Gate is ok, the transient shaperis okay, but not good enof for really transient shaping, it is a bit on the safe side. Its cool you can mix it inside its on module. The added LMC is can be handy. I only do EDM, so not reallly needed for me that LMC+ (and I got the stanalone version)

But nowadays I use the SSL CS2 (4k mode) and kilohearts transient shaper after it and those are better for me, coz they can go extremer.

But is a nice plugin, esp for that price. Still use it as a first insert on all my drumsub tracks (BD/SD/HC/TT/HH/CY/PC) The low shaper can act as a good BD weight tweaker. The High one is good for the cymbals and hihats. And for Toms it is really doing well. The transient works good for those.

The very annoying thing with the PA-Insallation manager is that it does not take care of plugin updates of the plugins you have installed.

They are now available on plugin boutique, no longer PA exclusives.

Now I bought them or they were free from PA, so what happens if PA falls through ? Do we go to the devs direct ? I doubt PB will allow us to register there.

I have emailed PA to ask, and find out if all is good.

Someone mentioned this could be something to do with the PA update system which isn't liked. I dunno.

Are you sure? Whenever I get a new plugin from PA I always use the manager and download/install the entirety of plugins that I own from them. That would seemingly include the latest versions of the plugins.

To tell the truth I don't really care if there is an update or not. Or to know if there's an update. All I was responding to was the thing of the PA installation manager installs the latest revision of plugins.
