Basics:
In actual use:
(audio rate modulation of it in LFO mode)
(probably my favorite)
There's a listing of each of the waves in the wavetable in the manual online - there are also in-between waveforms for continuous sounding modulation. There's an XY out and a Z out. XY is a matrix where X goes horizontally and Y goes vertically. Z is just a value from 1 - 64 that numbers all the waves in the wavetable going horizontally.
This thing really screams for a CV VCA next to it. Send an LFO into the VCA, max out the CV in on the VCA to where it sounds good, and send another different-timed LFO in to control the CV of the VCA.
This thing + the Triple Sloths I have coming (once I source parts and put them together) is going to be absolutely insane.
In low mode, it can also be used as an LFO for other items, but while using the funky wavetables - so you can get some really great modulation possibilities out of it. Put it in low mode and modulate the X, Y and Z morph inputs with audio rate and you can get all kinds of funky sounds out of the E350 itself.
FM can really bring some gnar - especially to the lower stuff. Haven't toyed with Sync yet, but I'm guessing self-syncing the two outputs could be nice for more lead/melodic stuff.
I was actually hoping to like the new Erica Wavetable VCO, (it's way cheaper, and I'm a sucker for black and Like Erica) but in the demo comparisons I did, it didn't sound as smooth when modulating or have the depth or weight the E350 seemed to have. In hindsight, absolutely no buyers remorse. But if you're looking for a wavetable oscillator, be sure to check it out as well.

Nice, I've had my E350 for a while and it's great module. I'm doing the opposite as you and just bought a Clouds today.
How do you like the Batumi compared to a typical LFO?
Clouds is so crazy good! I'm loving it even more now that I have two outputs from my modular and get stereo. Look into the firmware update - great reverb on that.
Batumi is way more than just an LFO. You get outputs for sine, square and the assignable shape (set via jumper or an expander switch) Free gives you four LFOs of different speeds. But things get really interesting in the other modes. Quad mode to get each subsequent LFO at a 90 degree phase offset from each other. Phase mode is similar to Quad, but you can set the different phase offsets for each of 2 - 4.. Divide mode gives you 2 - 4 represented as a time division of the initial. There's an Expert firmware update that adds random shapes to the possibilities (original assignable shapes are saw up, saw down, triangle and trapezoid) - definitely want the expander for this. But you also get an expanded zoom mode to fine tune the settings in each mode. Where Batumi truly shines is self-patching it for all kinds of great possibilities. Go phase mode or Divide mode and patch LFO 3's Sin wav to the freq of LFO 2, etc. and things can get fun!
