Yes, someone pointed out there’s been one every 2 years-ish so maybe next year. They have made a 4 tier rack so that might suggest there is a fourth in the pipeline.

No, but I did see that someone's coming out with a four-channel effects processor meant to fit in with the Mother paradigm. Even has a clever name: The Godfather.

I am trying to send a song (via the midi in) to the mother and not have its sequencer start (using it as an oscillator only). At the moment it seems it always starts and their's no way to prevent this. The DAW is sending midi beat clock which is needed for the DFAM which is used in the chain. The midi beat clock is creating the issue.

Not sure if an update fixed this, but for mine I created a blank sequence on the M32 then it played as a sound module.

Just sold my Matriarch because I was only using about 25% and figured since that was the case I mine as well get a Mother-32...wow do I love this thing! Definitely made the right choice for me. I have a Juno-106 and OB-6 Desktop for pads and big sounds but I still wanted to retain the Moog sound in some form. The single oscillator and filter sound great and is a really clean platform to send through effects. I was up until 1am just sending sequences through Valhalla Shimmer, Vintage Verb and Delay. The sequencer is a real strength for me too. I think it's super easy to use and intuitive, I actually love the little keyboard pads too. Just by the nature of it, it seems like it makes you compose differently and I really like that. They feel nice too. Didn't like Matriarch's sequencer, practically useless to me. I need a more visual readout of the steps to know what I'm doing.

Something about the tone seems to just work better with effects than a lot of synths. Maybe it's just that the rich pads of the OB-6 and 106 don't need much since they already can sound huge on their own. But you can just bathe the Mother-32 in reverbs and delays and it just immediately sounds like a Blade Runner score. Definitely a great compliment to my other synths. I suppose a second oscillator would be nice to have but I really like simple synths with limitations. Forces you to really explore what they can do.
