Thanks for all the ADK comments, pos or neg !
The greatest tool an improvising musician has is his ears.
Our goal is to listen to our community with "Bat-Ears" !!!
I personally think the Tonality and Usefulness of the Sonic Paintbrush are
the two most essential considerations in the building of a studio condenser.
When we started making mics in 1998, I really wanted Swiss-Army Style.
As we evolved, it became a process of listening to guitar players in
Nashville, and listening to Drummers in NY, as well Pop Singers in LA,
Cellists in London, etc. We got advice from the best ears in the biz!
Our Relationship to Hundreds of A-List Musicians and Engineers has given us
a unique window into the 'Process'. (Helps us become better Tool-Makers!)
Finding Optimal Source-Mic Relationships for the entire Symphony of
Musical Instruments (Electric and Acoustic) is my personal life's goal.
Is this good marketing strategy? Heck no!
Do our Entry Level Mics lack sex appeal visually. Guilty!
But our vision is to put Almost All the Dough in the "Engine".
I am simply the son of an automotive design engineer whose
legacy is his, now my, lifelong quest to make things work better.
Cheers!
