Well, that was probably the biggest thrashing I've ever seen in a Superbowl. Complete dominance. For me, it made for a boring game. I was hoping for a tight game. Credit to the Eagles though. That was one heck of a performance.
I did not see one commercial that impressed me. I did miss a few so maybe I missed the good ones.
I did not bother with the halftime show so I have no comment on that.
I have to laugh though because Fox had a 5.5 hour pregame show which to me is ridiculous but I'm sure my opinion is in the minority. I'm just not one for the hype and BS. There were much better things to watch like Ken Burns Hemingway and Ken Burns Thomas Jefferson.
Sirianni ran Hurts (gold star to him) ~ no one can stop him. (In fact a good QB run play is by far the hardest play to stop over the course of a game) Especially a QB draw. Kudos to the EAGLES! The refs let them play - I think the outcome would be the same if they play another 5 times...
I guess the guy who's got the copyright on that term is bummed. Word was he charges millions for its use after an official win. Glad we don't have to hear it anymore. lol
No team was beating that Eagles D Sunday. That was an old school ass whoop'n. Not a fan of the Eagles, but was happy to see them beat the Chiefs. Now the long wait until next season...
I remember the ole one or two thrown flags by a backfield judge that changed the game drastically. Interestingly offensive line holding is now critical. (KC went 3 bowls without one IIRC) This years game was tagged with just 2 holds! One on each team... I think you could have flagged another 12 if ya wanted to...
