I got it to work. This Mytek box rules. It's amazing how good it sounds.

Hey guys I did a little test run with it working and I think it's all good now. Sounds great as well. I will get back to tracking something tomorow and check it again and hopfully it was just the routing of the Lynx AES 16 card. I have to run it on it's head to get the patching right and for some add reason it undid itself and I had to redo it. So I think that was all that it was. I had an issue with it and couldn't get it to re patch. But eventually I got it. It's complicated but you guys are geeks so you will understand. The lynx card word clock in only runs on the first port. And to use it you need to use their snake with the word clock port on it. The new Mytek has DB 25 to Lynx dsub. So I have to run the 192 box on the 2nd Lynx port and tell the lynx card that 1-4 is really 5-8 and vice versa. It's cooky but it works. But it partialy re set itself and I didn't catch it cause it was only on a few channells. It just so happend that those were the ones I was trying to track on. So it was a combination of my bad and Lynx bad. But now I think all is well. :>) And I'm loving my new box. If you have any questions just fire away. I hope I only have good news from here on.

Hi Brad

There were and there will be gradual firmware upgrades as more coards are released. The latest addresses Protools Interface card and we excpect another one when Firewire is released.

To manage the updates with the current owners better we will create a firmware request form on the website that can be submitted to us by Mytek 8X192 owners to keep them current.

Firmware is a small 8 pin memory chip that gets replaced by the user in a socket on the main motherboard.

Just received my 192 and HD card today.
Wont have time to hook it up until monday though.
I´ll let anyone who´s interested know how it works...

BTW, I´m also getting my Equinox on monday (hopefully).
So I´m kinda looking forward for monday to comeheh
