I know about Vintage King Audio, but that's about it. Generally I'm looking for a C12 but open to other vintage pieces as well -- probably the only things that would be wise to buy would be those with authenticity and testing papers from Korby or Heyne or someone like that.....
check out micshop.com and mistyhillaudio.com. The mistyhillaudio site has not been updated in a while, but if you call them Im guessing that they could give you some prices. Also check out soniccircus.com Hope that helps.

I just got off the phone with sonic circus and they say they have a matched pair of C12s .....
Yeah, I'm in the same boat, looking for a pair of C12's and maybe a pair of Neumann M582's w/M62 Nickel capsules. No luck as of yet.
Try this cat out. Peter Drefahl of Drefahl Audio in Germany. [email protected] is his e-mail. I bought 2 M582's modified to accept threaded capsules and they came with the M64 capsules (pretty much same as M62) for $800 US a piece with a new Gotham cable and his own super quiet power supplies. I have bought a lot of stuff from him and he knows what is going on. Tell him I referred you. Don't know if that price is still relevant since I bought them 2 years ago. He can pretty much find you anything, plus anything bought from him is checked, refurbished or serviced as needed.
I second the recommendation for contacting Peter Drefahl. I bought a m582 from him as well and it came with one of his incredible power supplies. They really are appreciably better than the originals.
Interesting that no one has brought up the boyz at Vintage King - Mike Nehra is a gentleman and a heck of a nice guy. He is one of the few guys in the industry who doesen't make me feel like taking a shower after speaking with him.
Most of their vintage stuff is refurbed and cleaned by Korby Audio so you know you are getting properly maintained gear. They aren't really noted for strong pricing - but they generally have an exceptional selection of used high end vintage gear.
