Any info about API 550D?

Hi everyone. I got a API 5500 recently and had a look at user manual. It says the range control part is designed with reference of 550B, 550D and 550M, which confused me cause I never saw or heard 550D in my life.

Is anyone familiar with the module 550D? Is that a "modified option" or it really manufactured by API for a while?

The D model had 1db steps.

I had hoped API would have made their M model available again after the 5500 was released.
