I'd like to use Mixbus as my DAW for drums. ONLY drums... nothing else but drums. No other instruments, no mixing. Just bad ass kick ass acoustic drums. That's what I do, that's what I've done, I'm pretty good at it.

Mixbus seems to suit the way I'm used to tracking for the past 30 years. Here's the question... When ProTools and Logic users send me sessions to play on, will they have to be WAV files ? No AAC conversion right ? I'm not worried about exporting, just people sending songs. Not a lot of youtube videos on this :-) And Harrison's support site is not helping right now..

Thanks much. I'm an absolute newbie, I did use logic with an e-kit but lord e-kits suck ass. Can't sound like Levon Helm or Jim Gordon on those...
