Hi,

I have an SSL Alphalink SX and analog out 13 doesn't output sometimes. Restarting the unit 'fixes' the issue. I use it for analog summing and sometimes I notice that there's nothing output on that channel as I can only hear the right side out of 13-14. Most of the time it works, but I'm now feeling nervous that it's not on and keep checking it.

Obviously SSL will have no interest or support for it as it's a bit old now and I'm worried that as it's a converter, most techs won't want to touch it.

Can anybody tell me if this kind of thing is usually fixable by a 'normal' tech (i.e. someone that deals with mostly analog gear), and if so, somebody in the UK that would be able to tackle it?

Disregard - it's channel 13 of my SSL Matrix desk that's scratchy/has an issue on the DAW input side.

If anybody knows someone in the UK/South Wales that they'd recommend looking at it, I'd appreciate that - cheers....!
