The 1178 Stereo Peak Limiter and HVC250 Parametric EQ - very proud to feature the guts wherever we can!
The 1178 has the original Urei components that are discontinued.
The HVC250 has 14 independent high-voltage opamps.
They both come with linear power supply, something becoming a rare find these days.
Great idea with the upgraded features of your 1178!
What output transformers are you using in there? They say 1166 on them which is the old Marinair code for a gapped tranny, e.g. used in the old Neve circuits (as you most likely know). I´m just wondering if your tranny is gapped since the 1178 output stage doesn't require that IIRC.
