Monophonic analogue synthesizer, rack format (2u). It's a version of the ATC X synthesizer co-designed with Nova Musik. It smoothes the Triangle wave of OSC 1 into a purely gorgeous Sine Wave. A front panel switchable amplifier: the ATC-X's Moog Source transistor array style, or the classic SE-1X fully discrete Minimoog style amplifier.
Same X Model strength patches and sound engine, "Quad Filter System" efficiency versatility and warmth, discrete hardware analog distortion and crossmod, externally patchable ringmod circuits, programmable S.E.M. modes and triangle/square combi L.F.O., drive this massively monophonic Nova-flavored machine.
...Electronics has been the BEST. They were able to answer all my questions in detail before I purchased my ATC-Xi from them and provided outstanding post-sales support (a rarity these days). Glad to see SE tapping into the more "affordable" analog mono synth market. Can't wait to check one of these new offerings out. -T
Seems like many synths don't offer a sine wave as an osc waveform. What's with that? Out of all the synths I have on hand, only the MS-2000, the Roland Integra 7 and the JD-XI (digital parts) have a sine wave on offer. Should be a standard oscillator waveform on all synths in my book.
How about just the analog ATC-Xi - ARP2600, MOOG, Roland 303, and SEMS pass through saturation. Without the filter/resonance itself? Is that possible?
