In the ever-changing music production landscape, finding a set of tools that can inspire creativity while facilitating workflow is paramount, and it’s better when we can find everything we need in one package. UVI has just released the SonicBundle, packing over 1,000 instruments and effects, over 37,000 presets and 2 million samples, bringing together all the products currently available on their extensive catalog. This bundle features their flagship Falcon virtual instrument along with its 26 expansions, 11 premium effects plug-ins and the Soundware Collection containing 78 libraries for both the UVI Workstation and Falcon, totaling 116 products at an insanely attractive price.
UVI needs no introduction, they have been one of the most innovative and consistent providers of instruments and effects for the past twenty years, with a track record that speaks for itself. With the SonicBundle they’re delivering something for everyone, and it’s one of the most comprehensive packages out there, so whether you're producing your own music, beats for artists, writing film scores or creating soundscapes for videogames, this bundle will hit the mark.
We couldn't possibly go through every item included in this gargantuan package, but we’ll do our best to provide an overview of the big hitters. Let's do this!

Conquer the skies
There’s no better way to start our journey than with Falcon, UVI’s flagship virtual instrument that took the world by storm when it was released in 2015. At that time, UVI was known primarily for their sampled instruments, so some eyebrows were raised when they tried their hand at a de-facto synthesizer, but any doubts were quickly dissipated and Falcon became one of their most successful products, and an easy pick for any “best virtual instrument” list.
Falcon can do nearly anything you could possibly imagine from a synth: be it additive, subtractive, FM, phase distortion, wavetable or basically any form of synthesis, its twenty oscillators can do it in spades, and alongside its fully modular architecture, over a hundred included effects and modulators, Falcon delivers sounds of the utmost quality. Its included factory sound bank boasts over 1,500 presets, and if that wasn’t enough, there are over twenty expansions to choose from, which broadens its sonic palette, going from raging electronica basses to intricate atmospheric textures and nearly everything in between. Falcon can also load any UVI library, further expanding the scope of sounds it can achieve.

Falcon's powerful effects and modulators can transform any patch in seconds
We should mention that over the course of the last 10 years UVI has made a laudable effort to keep Falcon constantly updated and seized every opportunity to introduce hundreds of new features and presets. Currently in its third version and with a bright prospect ahead, this bird is well-equipped to fly and colour our sonic skies for the years to come.
More than a workstation: a workhorse

As good as that sounds (and it does sound amazing!) it gets way better with the SonicBundle, which gives you access to hundreds of sampled instrument libraries that transforms the Workstation into a workhorse that can take on any sort of production task, and by “any sort of production” we truly mean it. Be it music, movie scores or videogames, all bases are covered. Here we’ll find vintage synthesizer, drum machines (including some ultra-rare and hard to find pieces), grand pianos, all sorts of keyboards, orchestral, ethnic instruments, sound effects and even foley, making a total of 78 libraries encompassing nearly anything a modern producer could ever need.

Mosaiq is UVI’s library for UVI Workstation and Falcon, and it’s quite a different approach. Creating musical ideas is greatly facilitated by the inclusion of onboard tools for chord progressions, sequences and arrangements. Mosaiq ships with eight collections, over 1,600 sound sources and 1,200 carefully curated presets, so you can simply load the desired sound and do what matters: create music! Effects that are much more than meets the eye
Although UVI is a company that is mostly known for its instruments, they’re experts at audio effects plug-ins as well with many of their plug-ins being widely acclaimed and frequently mentioned in our forums as some of the best out there. We know that effects are the most loved plug-in category on Gearspace, so let’s break down what UVI has to offer:
Dual Delay X: a dual-channel delay that takes a few pages out of the reverb design book to bring something truly unique to the table. It deploys unitary rotation and reflection matrices that are similar to the feedback networks usually found on reverbs, but tuned differently for this application to create a delay with spatial capabilities that can go from pristine to vibey in a heartbeat.
Drum Replacer: one of the most popular (and controversial) modern music production techniques is contemplated here with this handy plug-in that easily replaces recorded drums with premium samples. Featuring machine learning capabilities that makes the analysis process much more accurate, Drum Replacer carefully detects each hit to trigger up to eight tracks hosting internal samples or VST instruments, and it does so without overwhelming the user via its intuitive layout.
Opal: optical compressors are loved for their smooth envelope and characterful tone, and with Opal we have 7 variations of this dynamic processor at our disposal, including different takes on the familiar “Levelling Amplifier” concept, but with modern features such as external sidechain, variable tube saturation and frequency response correction. Definitely the endgame plug-in for all our LA-2A needs!

The Opto compressor plug-in to rule'em all
Phasor: an effects catalog wouldn’t be complete without a phaser, and here we have a very handy one with Phasor. This plug-in takes on the classic effect but gears it with modern features, including a multimode LFO with different shapes, variable drive, selectable operating bandwidth and much more, all in a friendly user interface that allows for quick shaping of the phased sound.
Plate: arguably the most coveted reverb type due to its versatility and character, but at the same time extremely difficult to replicate due to the nature of the hardware, plate is one of those things that are very hard to “get right”. UVI managed to do it in stellar fashion and this plug-in is easily one of Gearspace’s favourite reverbs - and that is because not only it sounds authentic and realistic, but it offers a ton of flexibility and is capable of delivering all sorts of different flavours of plate.

A true sandbox for plate reverbs
Relayer: a creative and unique delay that is primarily focused on sequencer-based modulations that plays to all the strengths that tempo synchronization has to offer, but Relayer has extra tricks up its sleeve, offering ducking for enhanced rhythmic feel, diffusion for reverb-esque textures and also an extra Phasor effect for added motion derived from its sibling namesake plug-in.
Rotary: another tricky one to emulate due to its quirky hardware, the rotary speaker effect is widely used on many sound sources and goes far beyond its original purpose with the Hammond organ keyboards. Its cheerful character is perfect to spice up static sources and Rotary also offers interesting stereo-spreading possibilities, making it an excellent choice for vocals, guitars and synths.
Shade: simply labelling it as an “equalizer” would be a tremendous disservice to this plug-in, as it puts together some very interesting features rarely found in other plug-ins such as 35 filter shapes and 10 modulation components. Shade takes a sandbox approach where we can freely combine these elements to create truly unique creative effects that are far beyond the usual dynamic EQ territory - and before you ask, it is an incredible static equalizer of course (if you want it to be) but it is meant to be way more than that! If you want a deep-dive into its massive feature set, make sure to read our article about it.

Saying that Shade is “feature-rich” would be an understatement!
Sparkverb: the pioneer of UVI’s effects as it dates back to the company’s early days. Sparkverb was constantly updated over the years to keep up with the times, but its core reverb algorithm was so elegantly done that it remains essentially the same, with a highly flexible reverb engine that can be morphed into pretty much any kind of reverb, but nowadays it comes with all the optimizations and conveniences of modern plug-ins.
Tape Suite: a bundle with four different analog tape effects - namely Delay, Flanger, Chorus and Color, each on its own plug-in. This suite encompasses nearly every tape-trick ever, from the time-based delay and modulation classics to the famed saturation and tone. It's a superb set of tools for adding characterful effects and certainly a must-try for those who love lo-fi beats. Check out our video for a full walkthrough.
Thorus: a flexible plug-in in its heart, Thorus follows the UVI line of providing us with a “base” effect primer that can achieve various results with consistent sound quality through and through. Thorus not only delivers the classic chorused sound, it can also act as a doubler with up to 8 added voices and be set to work on specific frequency regions, making it much easier to fit in a mix.
It’s worthy of note that the UVI effects plug-ins are available on all popular formats (AAX, Audio Unit and VST) and are equipped with scalable user interfaces and highly optimized engines to keep latency and processor load always as low as possible, so they can run as many instances as wanted.

SonicBundle or SonicPass?
Although the SonicBundle delivers an extremely enticing proposition for the money, some may understandably prefer paying a monthly installment to access these tools only when they need it or when a certain job comes through the door, and for those UVI has the SonicPass. It brings the SonicBundle content plus instant access to future releases on a subscription-based model that’s available for $24/24€ per month (that can be cancelled at any time) or $240/240€ per year, which gets us two months for free. Certainly an interesting alternative for getting the amazing UVI content at a lower price point, albeit at the expense of perpetual licenses.
Bundle up for massive savings
The UVI SonicBundle is now available for Mac and Windows computers for only $799, which is a massive saving of literally more than eleven thousand dollars! Special tiered upgrades are available for owners of UVI products until April 14th 2025.
SonicBundle’s perpetual license can be simultaneously activated on up to three computers through iLok cloud and/or USB, and all the content can be easily downloaded and installed through the UVI Portal app, with individual downloads available through the user’s area on UVI’s website as well.
