Great, would love to see a 6-8 voice Dominion. Please think about having wheels (not strips) and an LCD screen for giving names to the sounds. Also, it is great to see that you use a high quality Fatar keyboard and have not gone to any mini-key sillyness. The Dominion 1 has the best keyboard of all new Mono synths out there. Just give the Poly Dominion dedicated +/- octave buttons.

A Poly Dominion would be so awesome! DSI is doing cool polys, but a poly Dominion is what I really want.

Reconsidering now, it would be fine with the strips too, very original in a poly. No matter which way they go, it will be cool.

Just an important note to MFB, please do not reduce the amount of LFOs in the poly version! The new DSI stuff is a little bit lacking having only 1.

Cant be wrong to voice reasonable expectations. If they know what is important to us its easier for them to make proper decisions.

I've compared the general tone of the Dom1 with the Modal 008 and I think it's close in tone, it has the crazy number of filter modes too. But I'd love to see a poly MFB synth, it would sound more vintage and crazy (in a good way)

Not sure about busy. A poly would be in 3k range, as a guess. Where air is getting thinner. But Modal and DSI can survive there, so should MFB.

Can someone who owns one tell me the weight and dimensions? I can't find anything on the MFB page, I'm hoping it could pass as cabin baggage. And how is the construction? The lack of surface mounted pots concerns me a bit, especially as I intend on using it live. Otherwise in regards to sound and features it's just about perfect for my needs.

It isn't remotely irrational. It makes so much sense it isn't even funny. If I could only keep one mono out of the ones I have it would be this one. (I do not own a mini D, I do have a voyager, sh101, odyssey, & MS20)

It has a great price point
It sounds pfffffft ripping fat.

@ Atomicunderware It's truly a sturdy synth. The only thing is the sliders are a bit wobbly.

Well I don't think a company can survive on poly sales alone if they need a fairly regular cash income. Selling a poly and a mono is a good combination.

I like the ribbons very much, they need a few time to get used to, but they are part of the Dominion-magic
If the build quality is OK, I will buy a Dominion poly without hesitation too.

I've been clean from the gear crack for 2 years. I don't think I have another rehab in me.

If there's one weakness is it how little of the controls can be modulated by MIDI control changes.

However, compared to the recent reissues from Korg it's much better, it has patch memory

Here's a couple small sequences of dominion 1 playing "paraphonically". As plain midi doesn't work very good for this, here the setup is:
computer midi for gates and base pitch -> dominion gate out triggers korg sq-1 -> sq-1 controls vcos.
