just 4 octaves. meh
These kind of monotimbral polys need 5 octaves to properly play octave basses and chords/melody riffs with both hands.

Yeah, not sure why Behringer hate 5 octaves so much. Half the posts on FB are saying it should be 5 octaves

Then again, this is the alternative:

4 octaves is the compromise for a Juno 60 at 600 quid. If you want 5 you can get a UB-XA/Pro16/Bupiter 8/DS-80/Polykobol.

I'd wish Behringer just license the models from Roland and make straight copies. I understand that it won't ever happen, but both companies are beating around the bush. Roland makes synths which differ from the originals like Disney Star Wars from the original trilogy and Behringer makes Turkish Star Wars.

I know, it's like waiting for Christmas. I sort of don't mind waiting but it is terrifying to look at the dates on the threads and realise that I've only just acquired an RD-8 and they've been "around" for 5 years now.

I wouldn't be surprised if roland releases a Juno-6x in the upcoming months, which basically is a reskin of the juno-x

If the Behringers had the "correct" name and the full trade dress on them, nobody would touch Roland's ersatz analogue money-spinners.

I just looked up the Juno-X, it's 1585 at Andertons. When Roland can crank out a Zen and SuperNatural based piano with a quality weighted action for almost half that it's not difficult to see what's going on (kerching).

Anyone else think the red screen looks a little too bright and evil?

edit: also, I know this is a Juno knock off but with a name like "Neptune" I think a blue color scheme would have been rad.
