Okay, now we’re talkin’, Korg. I guess basically a new Electribe Sampler but with the sequencing and synthesis of the ‘logues? Definitely following the development of this. I guess Korg just won NAMM for the second year in a row.

Sensible direction for the logue series. Looking forward to that, the SDK support makes it ripe for weird percussion options.

Korg are absolutely *killing it* at the moment. They're developing new and aggressively priced analog and analog-digital hybrid synths, as well as updated and enhanced versions of various digital synth engines at accessible prices.

Kudos to Korg!

Yeah but this looks like it’s a ways off from release, maybe summer/fall. That video is super dark for a reason, they’re still prototyping it. I say bang on your Uno Drum all day until Drumlogue ships.

When they say hybrid I wonder if that means drop your own waveforms into it via USB ?

Yeah, this has major potential and one ups every other groove box with the addition of custom logue oscillators. CLOSELY watching.

It wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me, but I hope it's backwards compatible with existing multi-engine stuff in addition to being able to load samples and whatever. And a suite of effects based on the KP3 (or whatever the latest one is) would be nice too.

Re-watched again, how did I not notice that he said multiple outputs....it keeps getting better.

Plus the multi engine....

Even if it was basically just a volca drum with extra voices, individual outs and more knobs it would be excellent. This looks very interesting.

hm bassdrum doesn't sound too sexy. Why would I instantly want this? More demos needed. There are so many useless drum machines out there. Hopefully not another one.

by hybrid they mean it has analogue and digital synthesis engines plus samples

the addition of the SDK and they placed focus on it being revamped, this brings a lot of scope, a lot
